You basically turn any links in your HTML into the buyable buttons you display on your product pages. Those buttons will open user's Xion Wallet Browser Extensions to purchase products/services.The checkout buttons can be customized by color, text, and linked to other checkout buttons to increase shopping cart size for a more profitable sale. Since the checkout process is injected into your website, the customer never leaves your website and goes through a seamless navigating and decentralized shopping experience.

Any physical or digital products and services. If it is a returning daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly plan you can sell it using the Xion Checkout Buttons. However, all digital products that require downloading, will have to be sent directly to your customers as Xion does not support this feature yet. In our next version, merchants will be allowed to upload their digital products for their customers to download off their my orders dashboard.
The Xion Wallet Browser Extension supports Ethereum and DAI cryptocurrencies. All amounts/balances are displayed in a USD equivalent. DAI is required to purchase products/services using the Xion Wallet Browser Extension in conjunction with Xion Checkout Buttons that have been injected into merchant's websites. DAI is a masterpiece of game theory that carefully balances economic incentives in the pursuit of one goal — a token that is continuously approaching the value of $1 USD. When DAI is worth above $1, mechanisms work to decrease the price. When DAI is worth below $1, mechanisms work to increase the price.
Xion supports Google Chrome and will be available on both Firefox and the Brave Browser shortly after it goes live date.
In checkout you will be presented with 3 options: Pay with DAI, Pay with Debit Card/Apple Pay or Pay with Bank Transfer. If you select Pay with Debit Card, then a new browser tab will open on Sendwyre to purchase DAI(Sendwyre fees will be applied). Once you have purchased DAI, please open your Xion Wallet Browser Extension and you will automatically be directed to your “Saved Order”. Click “Checkout”, click on “Pay with DAI” and then click “Confirm”. The last step is to click “Sign” and you will then see a screen that says “Purchase Completed”. Now click on “Manage my orders” to be directed to the Xion platform where you can view and manage your orders. (Actions will be available once the transaction/s is successful)Please note: If you already have DAI in your Xion Wallet Browser Extension then you can select “Pay with DAI” in checkout for an accelerated checkout process. Additionally, if you want to check out at another time, you can complete your purchase by clicking on the three dots at the top right(Account Details) of your Xion Wallet Browser Extension and click on “Saved Order”.
Yes. The seller side of the Xion Platform and Xion Wallet Browser Extension has everything a buyer has and more. Sellers can: create and manage their Xion Checkout Buttons. Search, edit, and export orders and customers. Activate, pause, and archive subscriptions/Xion Checkout Buttons. Last, but not least get statistics on their orders, subscriptions, and customers.

No. The Xion Wallet Browser Extension and Xion Platform are only available on Desktop. However, the mobile version will be releasing soon on Android and IOS devices.
We do not store any user's passwords and therefore you need to save your private key and seed phrase in case you forget your password. You will need this private key or seed phrase to reset your password. Xion is not responsible for forgotten passwords and cannot assist you if it is forgotten. If you need to create a new account, you will have to remove your Xion Wallet Browser Extension at chrome://extensions/. Once removed, you can visit the Google Chrome Store to add the Xion Wallet Browser Extension to your browser.
DATA and Configuration
Yes. You can click on your profile menu in the Xion Platform and then click on “Delete your account & data”. This will delete all of your information from our database, but it cannot delete your information stored in your Xion Wallet Browser Extension. Before deleting your data, please make sure to download all your transaction history in either management if you are a seller and in my orders if you are a buyer or a seller. Please note: We will be releasing a download all data option in the next version, in order to download all of your data including transaction history before you delete your account and data.

No. For security reasons we do not store your password in our database. Please make sure you download your seed phrase and private key when creating an account on the Xion Wallet Browser Extension. The power is in your hands.
Please notify your customers that they can download their transaction history in my “My orders” in the Xion Platform. However, if they require additional data please inform your customers to contact us at [email protected] or through the support channel in the Xion Platform.
Xion currently only supports English. Additional languages will be released in the next phases of development.
Yes! Once you create your Main Checkout Button, you can then create up to 9 Follow Up Checkout Buttons. These Follow Up Checkout Buttons can be injected into any website. Once your customers have added the Main Checkout Button to their order summary/cart in their Xion Wallet Browser Extension. They can then click on the button “Next Offer” in their order summary which will lead them to the next Follow Up Checkout Button. In order for this to work, the correct URL must be inserted into the Follow Up Checkout Button in the create section in the Xion Platform. Please make sure to start every URL with “https://“ or “http://“ otherwise it will not work if you start your URL with “www.”. This is an awesome way to increase your customer's cart size and make a more profitable sale. Works even better when you use funnels (Clickfunnels).
Internationally available. Some countries will not be permitted to use the Xion Platform and Xion Wallet Browser Extension based on their laws and regulations.
Yes. The only way you can log into the Xion Platform and use any of the Xion Checkout Buttons and features is to add the Xion Wallet Browser Extension to your browser. When you create an account on the Xion Wallet Browser Extension, you are essentially creating an account on the Xion Platform.
Firstly, refresh the page you are on a few times to establish a connection. Secondly, If you have cleared your cache then you have removed the authorization from your Xion Wallet Extension to any Xion Checkout Buttons and the Xion Global Platform. To reconnect please visit: chrome://extensions and switch your extension off and back on. If that didn't work, please follow the instructions on the FAQ: Why must I securely store my Private Key and Secret Phrase?
In case you forget your password, you can use your Secret Phrase/Seed Words to import your existing Xion Wallet Browser Extension Account. If it was not saved when creating an account then please follow these steps now. Open your Xion Wallet Browser Extension in your Google Chrome Browser tab. Click on the circle image at the top right of your Xion Wallet Browser Extension, click on Security & Privacy, click Reveal Seed Words, and finally save those Seed Words somewhere safe. Additionally, save your Private Key in Account Details. Once these are saved in a secure place, remove your extension at chrome://extensions and then head to the chrome store to download the extension again and import your existing Xion Wallet by using your secret phrase.
You need to make sure that all your existing browser tabs are closed and you only have the page open that you are taking action on. For example: You are on a website that has a Xion Checkout Button and you are about to purchase this product/service. You also have the Xion Platform open in another browser tab as well as another website open with a Xion Checkout Button. You will need to close the Xion Platform and the other website with the Xion Checkout Button. Now you can complete your purchase with 1 sign transaction. The same goes for any action taken in the Xion Platform (subscribe, pause, activate, unsubscribe). Additionally, always remember to reload the page.
MetaMask & Xion Wallet interfere with each other, to use Xion Wallet you need to disable MetaMask in your extension manager or vice versa. To access the Xion platform or use any Xion checkout buttons then you need to disable Metamask.
Customers of Merchants
By contacting the merchant/seller that is responsible for your order. You can contact the merchant/seller in the messenger in the Xion Platform or by contacting them through their website. Xion emails you the receipts of your orders but the merchants/sellers are responsible for emailing you the tracking links for your orders.
By contacting the merchant/seller in the Xion Platform messenger or by their email address on their website. To request a refund. Merchants/sellers can refund you by sending you DAI from their Xion Wallet Browser Extension. The merchants will need your wallet address which can be found in your Xion Wallet Browser Extension account details. You can also copy your wallet address at the top middle of your Xion Wallet Browser Extension by simply clicking on your wallet address.
In the “my orders” section of the Xion Platform. There is a button on each product/service that says “Download All Transactions”. This is a CSV template that can be opened in Microsoft excel and other accompanying applications.
If you did not pay to pause your subscription then it means the merchant/seller has paused all of their customer's subscriptions. When the seller/merchant decides to activate the subscription again for all of their customers, then your subscription will be activated and you will be billed on your due billing date. Please contact the merchant/seller on the Xion Messenger or via email on their website for more information.
If you did not unsubscribe from your subscription then it means the merchant/seller has archived all of their customer's subscriptions. When a merchant/seller archives a subscription/s, it unsubscribes all of their customers from that subscription/s. The subscription/s will only be available again once the merchant/seller activates it again. Please contact the merchant/seller on the Xion Messenger or via email on their website for more information.
If the merchant/seller paused all customer's subscriptions then you will have to wait until the merchant/seller activates it again. If you paused your subscription and the merchant/seller also paused all customer's subscriptions, then you will also have to wait until the merchant/seller activates it again for the activate button in my orders to work. Please contact the merchant/seller on the Xion Messenger or via email on their website for more information.
This is because the merchant/seller has either paused or archived the subscription for all of their existing and future customers. You will only be able to subscribe once the merchant/seller activates the subscription again for all of their customers. Please contact the merchant/seller on the Xion Messenger or via email on their website for more information.
No. Our payment service provider does not save any debit card details yet. It is currently in their roadmap and will be released soon. This means you need to remember to Top Up your Xion Wallet Browser Extension with DAI before your subscription/s due billing dates. However, if you link your bank account through the Bank Transfer option in checkout then your bank details will be saved for recurring billing.
You can contact a merchant via their website email address or you can message them on the Xion Platform Messenger for a quicker response.
Yes. You will need to pay 12.5% of your total subscription price to pause your subscription for as long as you want. This is because if you have a loyalty activated subscription, it will save your current discount progress. However, if a merchant pauses all customer's subscriptions then you will not pay a fee. Please note that the paused subscription email needs to be edited because it says your subscription will be paused for 90 days which is not correct. Additionally, if you need to purchase DAI, Sendwyre fees will be applied.
Simply because it is blockchain. When you purchase a product or take any action in my orders, you will have to sign the transaction for the action to be executed. If you do not sign the transaction then your action will not be processed. For example Click unsubscribe in my orders and the Xion Wallet Browser Extension opens to sign the transaction. I clicked sign and now I am unsubscribed from my subscription.
Yes. You will get an email with the products you have purchased and as well as the total price paid(excluding Sendwyre fees). However, if you have not entered in the correct email address in your Xion Wallet Browser Extension then you will not receive any emails. Please check your junk or spam emails if you cannot find your invoice. You can also download your transactions on the My Orders page in the Xion Platform.
If you see your subscription price is getting lower and lower after the 1st payment, then it’s a loyalty activated subscription. Alternatively, ask your merchant/seller if your subscription is a loyalty activated subscription. By default all users get a FREE loyalty package assigned to their profile when you create an account on the Xion Wallet Browser Extension. However, this discount is only applied if merchants/sellers have activated the loyalty program on the subscription they are selling.
In the Xion Wallet Browser Extension you need to hold a certain amount of DAI in your Loyalty Account to activate a Loyalty Package. For example: I have $25/DAI in my Loyalty Wallet and now the Loyalty Package 1 is activated. You can either send DAI from another cryptocurrency wallet into your Loyalty Account Wallet, purchase DAI using your debit card or bank transfer. Here is a step by step process, using a debit card to purchase DAI. Step 1 - open your Xion Wallet Browser Extension and click on your circle profile picture at the top right. Step 2 - click on your Loyalty account. Step 3 - click Upgrade. Step 4 - click on what package you want (Package 1-4) and click confirm. Step 5 - Now click Top Up with Debit Card/Apple Pay to open the Sendwyre widget to purchase DAI. Once you have purchased DAI and it is in your Loyalty Wallet Account, then your Loyalty Package will be activated. Your Active Package will be shown in the Upgrade screen or in the Xion Platform Wallet. Please note this applies to sellers and buyers.
Yes. Products/services can only be purchased if you have enough DAI in your main DAI Account. When you download/add the Xion Wallet Browser Extension to your browser, two accounts will automatically be created(main Account and a Loyalty account). When you checkout, you will have to purchase DAI using your Debit Card or Bank Transfer. Once you have enough DAI in your account, then you can select Pay with DAI in checkout and then Sign the transaction/s to complete your purchase. Alternatively, you can also send DAI from another cryptocurrency wallet into your main Account wallet.
No. You can purchase DAI using your Debit Card or Bank Transfer in the Xion Wallet Browser Extension. This can be done in checkout or through the Top Up screen in your main Account on the DAI token.
Whenever you purchase a product/service, your Order Status in the Xion Platform(My Orders) will be in a Pending Status. This is because we have to make sure everything is approved on our backend and the blockchain in order to approve your order. This may take up to 5 minutes to be approved and then once it is approved your Status will be Active and you will be allowed to take Action(Unsubscribe & Pause).
No. When you purchase a subscription for the first time and you sign the transaction. You are signing all future transactions to allow Xion to sign your transactions on your behalf. This means you don’t have to sign a transaction every time you are billed for your subscription. However, you need to make sure that you have enough DAI in your main Account in your Xion Wallet Browser Extension before your due billing dates to avoid failed transactions. If a transaction fails then as soon as you Top Up your Account with enough DAI, then the funds will be pulled from your Account to settle any outstanding failed transactions.
There will be 5 retry attempts before you are unsubscribed from your subscription. You will receive an email every time your payment fails. Each retry attempt has specific intervals between retry attempts. After your payment fails, it will be 24 hours before the first retry attempt (1). Then it will be 24 hours after the 1st retry attempt (2), 24 hours after the 2nd retry attempt,(3) 24 hours after the 3rd retry attempt (4), and 24 hours after the 4th retry attempt (5).
Open your Xion Wallet Browser Extension and click on the ellipsis dots at the top right. Click on Saved Order and you will see any products you did not check out yet in your Order Summary/Shopping cart. Please also note: when you checkout with a Debit Card or Bank Transfer, you will have to return to your Saved Order to complete your purchase by checking out with DAI. Only 1 Order Summary/Shopping cart can be saved at a time.
Merchants / Sellers
Yes. Xion does not handle tracking links or products being supplied to customers. Xion only sends purchase completed emails to customers that contain the total amounts of customers paid. Please make sure to contact your customers by Downloading or Viewing your Transactions on the Management page in the Xion Platform.
Yes. You can change the color and text of your Xion Checkout Button/s without having to add the HTML code to your website again. However, some other details on your Xion Checkout Button/s cannot be changed after created. For example only single billing checkout button pricing can be changed after created.
This feature is not available yet. We are currently implementing this into the Xion Wallet Browser Extension and will be available soon. For now users can send their DAI to exchanges in order to withdraw their funds.
The Xion Platform and Xion Wallet Browser Extension is completely free to use. We only charge 3.5% off every transaction and an additional $0.30USD to cover ETH gas fees. However, we do not charge any fees when using the Send feature for ETH or DAI in the Xion Wallet Browser Extension as this is not related to our smart contracts or backend functionality.
Yes of course! Our Xion Platform and Xion Wallet Browser Extension is designed for B2C and B2B purchases. However, the only limit on B2B is the daily limit when using Debit Card to purchase DAI for orders. If you have DAI in another cryptocurrency wallet then you can send that DAI into your main Account Wallet in your Xion Wallet Browser Extension and immediately process higher priced orders(no limit with DAI).
Yes of course! Our Loyalty Program is for sellers and for buyers. If the seller has activated the Loyalty Program on their subscription/Xion Checkout Button then your Loyalty Package discount will be applied. Refer to the “How do I get discounts off my subscriptions?” FAQ.
Yes they are. When you create a Main Xion Checkout Button, you can then create a Follow Up Checkout Button that will be linked. Main Xion Checkout Buttons are displayed as the grey box in the create section whereas the Xion Follow Up Checkout Buttons are the blue boxes. In management you will also see that only Main Checkout Buttons are displayed. Therefore, any action taken on the Main Checkout Button affects all Xion Follow Up Checkout Buttons linked to that Main Xion Checkout Button.For example: Created a Shaver as my Main Xion Checkout Button and now I created my first Xion Follow Up Checkout Button which is for shaving cream. I will now add the Main Xion Checkout Button HTML to my shaver product on my website and then I will add the Follow Up Checkout Button to my shaving cream product on my website. Now a customer visits my website and clicks on the Main Xion Checkout Button to add the shaver to cart in their Xion Wallet Browser Extension. Now in the Order Summary/Cart the customer clicks “Next Offer” and a new browser tab opens to the shaving cream product page on my website and can now add that product to cart to increase their cart size.
es. Whenever you take action on the Xion Platform Management page, it affects all customers that have subscribed to any of those subscriptions as well as your Xion Checkout Buttons. For example I have a Main Shaver subscription and a Shaving Cream Follow Up subscription. Now I paused my Shaver subscription which has now paused all my customers Shaver and Shaving Cream subscriptions so they are not billed again. My Shaver and Shaving Cream Checkout Buttons are not clickable on my website to prevent new customers from purchasing and an email is sent to all my customers letting them know that their subscription/s have been paused. Please refer to the “How does it work?” document in the create section in the Xion Platform for more details.
Yes. Every time a customer purchases a product or takes action in the Xion Platform, they are sent an email. However, these are standard emails and it is highly recommended that you add all of your customers to your email list when sending newsletters, order confirmations, tracking links, and any other emails your customers require. In our next version we will be releasing customizable emails to suit your preferences.
No. Transactions are immutable, irreversible, and transparent. With cryptocurrency payments, financial information is secure, meaning there is no risk of the buyer being frauded via identity theft, for example. The inherent immutability of blockchain technology means transactions are final for the merchant, eliminating chargeback fraud.

Yes. Make sure to include your shipping price into your Xion Checkout Button price, if it is a physical product. This is because FREE Shipping is displayed in the order summary/cart in the Xion Wallet Browser Extension to increase conversion rates. In our next version we will be allowing sellers/merchants to add their own flat and dynamic shipping rates.
